Carnival has arrived, the most gluttonous period of the year where everything is fried and the air is filled with the scents of desserts rich in creams, jams, fillings, icing or granulated sugar coverings that whet our gluttony or Is there anyone among you who is not?
To stay on the Carnival theme I would say to fry following this recipe of fried ravioli with orange marmalade or bitter oranges which provides a very simple dough to make suitable even for beginners, but you want to let yourself be tempted.
The sheet of these ravioli must be very thin, we can use a rolling pin or make use of the help of the pasta machine to roll it thin so that it is only a sweet and crunchy wrapper that encloses a generous teaspoon of delicious jam.
Now let’s move on to reading the recipe and remember to tag us in the preparation of this and other preparations that involve the use of our jam

Instructions

1. Put the flour, with the sugar, the grated lemon peel, the soft butter into small pieces, the salt and mix in the bowl, in the mixing bowl or in the bowl of the planetary mixer.

2. Add the milk and the egg and knead until you get a soft dough, let it rest for about thirty minutes

3. Divide the dough into four parts and roll out with a rolling pin up to 2 mm or if you use the grandma duck pass the dough several times between the rollers.

4. Place teaspoons of marmalade on the strip, spacing the edges with a kitchen brush of egg white or water to make the sheets adhere, place another sheet of pasta on top and cup with a square stencil.

5. Fry with peanut oil at 170° preferably in a tall pan so that they can be turned easily without flattening.

6. To avoid excess grease, place for a few moments on absorbent paper, then sprinkle with icing sugar and enjoy immediately.
