Any excuse is a good one to fire up the stove and fry up some delicacies, but what better excuse than the celebration of Carnival, beloved by young and old alike?

We say loved by young and old precisely because this recipe will be super appreciated from the youngest to the oldest given the so much goodness it consists of.

Frittelline di Carnevale con Yogurt e Marmellata di Arancia rossa di Sicilia I.G.P.,simple to prepare but also to eat since it will be hard not to taste them while preparing them.

The lightness of the Yogurt dough goes well with the strong, sweet flavor of the Sicilian Red Oranges I.G.P. marmalade, chosen precisely to give a Sicilian touch to our food blogger Antonella Audino’s recipe

Instructions

1. Place egg, sugar, oil, flavorings, yogurt in bowl, mix lightly then add flour and livit mixing vigorously with spatula to remove any lumps, let stand 10 minutes

2. Heat peanut oil in a small pan, not in a frying pan, so that by pushing the dough from the spoon they can roll and turn in the hot oil, becoming round and cooking evenly and smoothly

3. Place on paper towels to remove excess oil then roll in sugar while still warm
