When you think of a burger sandwich, you immediately think of sauces, overflowing fries, appetizers and so on and so forth.

This recipe is a reinterpretation of the burger sandwich, with a sweet variant, since our extra orange and strawberry jam has been used instead of the sauces.

From the blog of the very nice Mastercheffa,

we present a delicious gourmet recipe of a Sandwich with Scottona burger stuffed with our extra orange and strawberry jam,

where the encounter between sweet and savory creates the perfect combination and a balance that gives flavor and creativity to eat not the usual burger

Instructions

1. First, cut the rolls in half and toast the inside, which will remain crunchy even with the topping added.

2. Finely chop the cabbage and dress it with extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt and a handful of mixed seeds.

3. Cook the hamburgers on a very hot grill over medium-low heat (you choose whether to enjoy them well done or a little pinker).

4. Spread a layer of ricotta cheese on the bottom of the bun and a layer of jam on top.

5. When the hamburgers are cooked, place them on the base with the ricotta, then add a little cabbage salad and close the top with the jam.

Serve immediately: enjoy your meal, your scottona burger sandwiches are ready to be enjoyed!
