Nero d’Avola Organic Wine is a monovarietal red wine obtained from Nero d’Avola grapes, the prince of Sicilian native vines, vinified in purity. Wine of great longevity, character and at the same time of great elegance.

TASTING NOTES

View: intense ruby ​​red with beautiful purple reflections

Smell: intense, with notes of blackberry jam, berries and delicate hints of tobacco

Taste: warm, harmonious, with great structure and persistence and with perfectly balanced tannins

Soil and climate: Calcareous soils, at an altitude between 180 and 250 m a.s.l., Mediterranean climate with significant temperature variations between day and night

Training system: Counter-espalier with spurred cordon pruning

Planting density: 5,000 vines per hectare, with yields of around 60-70 quintals/ha

Harvest: Manual harvest in the last ten days of September

Vinification: Fermentation in steel, with long maceration on the skins at a controlled temperature

Ageing: Maturation in 25 hectolitre oak barrels for 12 months and 6 months bottle aging
