Grillo Bianco Maggiore Organic DOP – 75cl

Rallo’s Grillo Bianco Maggiore Bio DOP was produced from 100% Grillo grapes. The vineyards of origin, trained using Trapani saplings and exposed to the South, are located in the Marsala (TP) area. The soils here are of medium texture and the estimated altitude is around 50 meters above sea level. The harvest was done by hand in 15 kg boxes in September. The winemaking process began with the soft pressing of the bunches which led to the production of the must. The alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel at a temperature of 15-16°C for a period of 8 days. The refinement took place for 6 months in stainless steel and for 1 month in the bottle. Bianco Maggiore is the name of a bird belonging to the heron family that winters in the Stagnone Reserve where the vineyards are located.
