Ingredients

Ingredients for the pastry:
300 g of 00 flour
120 g of sugar
150 g of cold butter cut into small pieces
1 of yolk
1/2 lemon zest only
1 pinch of salt

Ingredients for the cream
2 whole eggs
100 g of sugar
50 g of frumina or flour
500 g of whole milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

For the filling:
200 g of Agrisicilia strawberry extra jam
150 g of fresh or frozen berries

In this recipe, the crumbly texture of the shortbread, meets the suave flavor of the cream that is combined with the unmistakable flavor of our Extra Sicilian Strawberry Jam.

A few simple steps that give a truly exquisite flavor

Instructions

Shortbread preparation:
1. Put all the ingredients in the Thermomix with the cold butter from the fridge and work for 30 sec. speed 3/4 then distribute the crumbs evenly distributed on a tray and keep in the fridge for an hour. In the absence of the bimby, a kitchen cutter will be fine because it doesn't have to be a dough, but a set of crumbs.

Cream preparation with Thermomix:
Insert eggs and sugar with butterfly 1 minute speed 4. 4
Remove the butterfly, add the frumina, 15 sec. speed 5, add the milk, cook 20 minutes at speed. 3 at 100°, continue cooking if it is not yet of the right density.

Tart assembly:
Line the bottom of a 24cm cake tin with just over half of the crumbs. Better if on oven paper flattening slightly and creating the edges. Arrange the jam, then the cream, leveling it, finally the berries and cover with the remaining crumbs and cook in the oven at 200° static until cooked for about 40 minutes
