Finally find the cherries at the greengrocer’s it immediately made us want a tart with cherry jam, but since they are first fruits and unapproachable in price I certainly didn’t buy them, if not a tuft to remove the desire, anyway in the house there is never a lack of jam of cherries Dulcis in Frutta Agrisicilia even richer in organic fruit and without added sugars, but with only organic grape sugars, which not only does not make you regret a homemade jam, but is also tastier because in every jar there is the thirty years of experience in the sector.

The recipe is perfectly balanced and full of fruit, taste and flavor and above all, just open the jar to have this wonderful fruit any time of the year!

The pastry is simple and quick to prepare and is soft and crumbly

Instructions

1. Put the butter and flour in the mixing bowl 20 sec. speed 4.
Add sugar 10 sec. speed 4.
Add the whole egg and the yolk, all the flour and baking powder, 40 sec. speed 4.
Add salt and herbs 30 sec. speed 4 or until the pastry is compact.

2. If you don't have bimby, do the same in a planetary mixer or on a pastry board.

3. Remove everything from the mug and finish. It is possible to directly form and roll out or to stop in the fridge, which is not mandatory, but preferable.

4. Being with yeast, this pastry will be softer and more crumbly and will tend to swell slightly during cooking.

5. Roll out to 7 mm between two sheets of lightly dusted with flour, place the baking sheet on top and cut along the diameter, then transfer the whole sheet of baking paper to the baking tray, pricking the oven with the prongs of a fork.

6. Insert the jam and decorate with the classic stripes or as your imagination suggests.

7. Bake at 180 for about 35 minutes.
