Il Due Lune is a red wine, still and dry, vinified as a blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nero d’Avola grapes. A particularly relevant flagship product of the Cellaro winery, in the province of Agrigento, Sicily.

Pairings: Excellent with pasta dishes with sauce, then roasts and game. Also perfect with aged cheeses.

Tasting Notes: Due Lune is a deep, impenetrable ruby-red wine. It is an explosion of red fruit and ripe blackberry aromas, oriental spices, pink pepper and leather well integrated with each other.

Production area: Sambuca di Sicilia (AG) – Italy

Vinification: De-stemming, cryomaceration for 12 hours and soft pressing of grapes. Temperature-controlled fermentation 16°-17°C with a period of resting on the yeasts after fermentation.
