Mode of storage: Store out of direct light and away from heat sources. After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within 15 days.

The first ingredient is fragrance: Unlike other pestos, we chose not to use garlic in our pistachio and almond pesto. All the flavor we were looking for is already in the very few ingredients in the recipe, carefully crafted to preserve the most characteristic scents of Sicily in each jar.

When pizza goes green: What if for once pizza was not red, but green? We like to use Santoro’s Pesto of Pistachios and Almonds instead of tomato puree, making the pizza even more delicious with mozzarella cheese-in Sicily it is made with buffalo milk-fresh basil leaves and extra virgin olive oil.

MAKE YOUR DISH UNIQUE

Enhancing pesto with salted ricotta cheese: It only takes a few steps to bring out the flavors of pistachio and almond pesto. We recommend pouring a few tablespoons of it into a nonstick frying pan, heating over very low heat and immediately draining the al dente pasta into the pan. Add just enough cooking water to achieve the right tenderness; a generous grating of salted ricotta gives flavor to the dish.
