Mulberry rosolio is a characteristic liqueur belonging to the Sicilian food and wine heritage based on mulberries. It turns out to be an excellent digestive. Excellent to serve at room temperature to enhance its flavour, and often used as a syrup for fruit cakes.
The product
- Character: Mulberry rosolio represents a real reminder of the flavors of the past, thanks to a preparation technique handed down to the present day and remained preciously guarded and unchanged over time. Its particular Mulberry flavor made it the perfect rosolio to be served as a dessert liqueur or during an original aperitif.
- Colour: The purplish typical of red mulberry.
- Alcohol content: 28% vol.
- Ingredients: Pure hydrated alcohol, sugar, mulberry infusion.
- Preparation: We select the finest mulberries to grind them twenty-four hours before being infused. The product obtained is left to macerate in a natural way for more than a month. After a first filtration, it is mixed with the syrup made up of water and sugar. This is followed by a second filtration after which the product is left to decant for a few months before bottling.
