Everything already speaks of Christmas from the Christmas windows, to the supermarkets that already offer the typical Christmas products including pandoro, panettone, dried fruit, but it is at home that we want to breathe the smell and atmosphere of Christmas What could be better than preparing a good dessert that between the taste of oranges and the aroma of cinnamon makes us breathe and savor the typical flavors of these festive days, where welcoming relatives and friends has an extra taste if we offer them something prepared with our hands.
The orange and cinnamon marmalade in the dough gives the bite an aroma made even more intriguing by the marmalade distributed over the oranges, making this cake and these moments magical.

Instructions

1. Cover the pan, preferably with a hinged circle, with parchment paper, distribute 50 g of granulated sugar on the bottom.

2. Cut the organic oranges into very thin 3 mm slices and place them in a pan on top of the sugar.

3. Beat the eggs with the sugar until you obtain a soft and frothy mixture, then grate the peel of the two oranges which we will use to obtain the juice.

4. Squeeze the oranges and obtain 200 g of juice and place in a bowl, add the oil, mixing gently, add the flour with the whisk in motion, the salt and the baking powder.

5. Pour the mixture over the oranges and bake in a static oven at 200° for about 40 minutes, stick test.

6. When the cake is cold, turn it out onto a serving plate and after slightly warming the jam with a spoonful of water, distribute it over the oranges to create an even tastier layer.
