Ingredients

For the base
250 g digestive biscuits
50 g hazelnuts
20 g brown sugar
150 g melted butter

For the stuffing
250 g spreadable cheese
120 g plain yoghurt
120 g cream for desserts
1 egg
80 g sugar
vanilla flavor
150 g of Sicilian red orange jam AGRISICILIA

For the pastry
120g flour
120 butter
100 g hazelnuts
100 sugar
1 yolk
1 pinch of salt

The Linzer Cake is an orange marmalade cheese cake suitable for the Christmas period that combines two sweet preparations: the linzer tart and the cheesecake.

An indescribable, greedy, rustic and fresh taste thanks to the cream cheese and topping with AGRISICILIA blood orange marmalade.
I advise you to prepare it if you want to impress your guests.

Instructions

1. Finely chop the biscuits and hazelnuts, add the sugar and butter.
Mix and with this mixture cover the base and the edges of a springform pan covered with baking paper.

2. Put in the fridge to rest.

3. In the meantime, prepare the filling: put the cheese, yoghurt and cream in a bowl and blend.

4. Add the sugar, vanilla and egg, blend until you obtain a homogeneous mixture without lumps.

5. Pour the filling onto the biscuit base and bake at 160* for 40 minutes.

6. Remove from the oven and pour the jam on the surface of the cake.

7. Prepare the pastry, finely chop the hazelnuts, add the butter, sugar, egg yolk, flour and salt.
Roll out the dough and form many strips.

8. Decorate with the pastry and bake at 170° for 20 minutes.
Remove from the oven, leave to cool and serve.
